• Insurance categories (not full policy numbers)
• Uploaded documents or extracted fields

You waive any rights to compensation or notice related to data sales or licensing.

2.3 AI, Automation & Data Extraction

to extract information from your uploads. You acknowledge automation may contain errors and agree to verify your own data.

2.4 Communication & Marketing

We may use your information to:

• Communicate with third parties on your behalf (e.g., insurance agents)

You may opt out of marketing emails, but not essential platform communications.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

4. DATA SALES (CCPA/CPRA-Compliant Disclosure)

Under California's CCPA/CPRA definitions, JSN "sells" and "shares" data.

• Coverage areas
• Certifications
• Capability statements
• Uploaded documents (where appropriate)

Users cannot opt out of these sales if they want to use JSN, because this data sharing is core to how the Platform functions.

This is permissible because:

• JSN is a business-to-business (B2B) platform
• Information is collected and used for commercial purposes
• Users voluntarily provide business and EIN information
• Data sharing is required for matching, verification, and client visibility

5. GDPR Notice (If Applicable)

JSN is designed for U.S. businesses.

However, if EU data subjects access JSN, the following GDPR rights apply:

• Right to access

• Right to delete (with limitations)
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability

Because JSN requires data processing and sale to operate, continued use constitutes consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).

Users who withdraw consent must stop using JSN and delete their accounts.

Depending on your state, you may have rights under CCPA, CPRA, Colorado CPA, Virginia CDPA, and Delaware/Illinois laws.

• Opt-out of certain sales (not available for core JSN functionality)

We verify identity before processing requests.

7. RETENTION POLICY

We retain data:

• As long as your account is active
• As long as necessary to fulfill platform functions

• Indefinitely for data previously sold, licensed, or commercialized

Deleting your account does not require deletion of previously collected or shared data.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures.

• We do not guarantee protection against breaches
• We are not responsible for breaches caused by third-party platforms, integrations, or user devices

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

JSN is not intended for children under age 18.
